TONIGHTS MEETING GUEST SPEAKER :
Elizabeth Bittner on Urban Birds of Prey
From the impressively sized turkey vulture to the tiny screech owls, city dwelling birds of prey play an important role in the urban ecosystem. If you are a gardener, a pet owner, or simply an outdoor enthusiast, these feathered carnivores help you live a healthier and more enriching life. Discover more about different raptors that call your neighborhood home and how they help to protect human populations from disease and pests.
Spring is here and activity levels with our neighbors and weather alike are on the move. Come to our meeting and meet your neighbors and your AHNA board -with all that is going on, from crime to zoning to infrastructure, and even parties (see announcement below) – Arlington Heights Neighborhood Association is there for everyone. We are neighbors helping neighbors solve problems and help build the strength of community. All the people on the AHNA executive board and numerous other committees of interest to our neighborhood are all volunteers, neighbors like YOU, who love and live in and around Arlington Heights and want to see it grow and flourish.
