Basic Start-Up Kits for the Homeless
First Street Methodist Mission is now providing Start-Up Kits for individuals who have been homeless and are now moving into supportive or transitional housing. For someone who is recently off the streets, the small amount of household items provided in the Start-Up Kits make a big difference in their ability to find comfort in their new home and strength to continue down a new path.
The Mission can always use donations of the items listed below for the Start-Up Kit program ~ the cost to provide one kit to a formerly homeless individual is approximately $100.00. Donated items can be gently used or new.
