Bike Plan Meetings To Be Conducted in March, April
Come hear about the city’s plans to improve bicycling in Fort Worth.
Four meetings are scheduled. The same presentation will be made at each meeting, but emphasis will be on the bikeway recommendations in the sector of the city nearest the meeting location.
Residents can give feedback on the recommended projects, programs and policies.
City staff members have spent the past year and a half developing a plan – complete with ideas from public meetings and surveys – to improve conditions for bicyclists and to make bicycling a safe and attractive transportation alternative.
Best practices from around the country, tailored to the unique attributes of Fort Worth, were included. The result is Bike Fort Worth, a comprehensive bicycle transportation plan.
