BRING TOYS AND CANDY DONATIONS TO NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
Thomas Place Community Center
4237 Lafayette Avenue
Tuesday October 6
6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Always a highlight on the Arlington Heights social calendar, National Night Out attracts one and all (including dogs, too) to enjoy this annual outdoor community get together. There will be free food and door prizes, with a bounce house for the kids, courtesy of Arlington Heights Masons. DJ Gil Loza will be spinning tunes.
This year’s event includes a special toy drive benefitting Westside kids. Everyone is encouraged to bring to the event new unwrapped toys for the Fort Worth Police Department to distribute to deserving children at Christmas. Contact Arlington Heights Citizens on Patrol Captain Jan Bourne for more information: jan_bourne@rocketmail.com.
Also, Thomas Place Community Center asks everyone to bring donations of candy to National Night Out. They need to fill up the gift bags for kids for the Center’s upcoming Fall Festival at the end of October. More info on the Fall Festival coming soon.
