Fort Worth City Council Elections are Saturday, May 9, 2009, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Early voting starts on April 27.
Dates are:
April 27-30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
May 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
May 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
May 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
May 4-5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There are contested races for: Mayor and Districts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. (See candidate listings in each race below).
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS votes for DISTRICT 7
Recently the Fort Worth League of Neighborhoods has co-sponsored with the League of Women Voters of Tarrant County a series of taped candidate interview sessions. These will air on Charter Cable and AT & T U-Verse Cable, and will be available on the City’s website starting the week of April 13. Watch for more air date information.
Also, the League of Neighborhoods has distributed a questionnaire relating to neighborhood issues to each Fort Worth City Council candidate. Answers are being posted starting today. Watch for these on the League’s website (www.fwlna.org). Below, AHNA has posted answers for Mayor and District 7 below (I will post answers as they are received by the League).
