CLOVER LANE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
We’re getting close to the finish line! During the last month, the contractor completed the street paving to Dexter and installed ADA ramps, sidewalks and driveways near the south end of the project.
The contractor has completed nearly all the required concrete removals (street/sidewalk/driveways/etc.) and is now in the process of installing new replacements. They have nearly completed the subgrade preparation work for the remainder of Clover Lane (Dexter going north toward Camp Bowie) and are preparing to complete the street paving over the next month.
The rest of the concrete sidewalks and driveways will be completed over the next few months.
Here is the upcoming construction schedule:
September 7-11: Continue paving from Dexter to Lafayette in the southbound lane. Continue sidewalk and driveway replacement.
September 14-18: Continue paving from Lafayette going north towards Camp Bowie.
September 21-25: Continue street paving on Clover Lane with the optimistic goal of completion pending the weather.
As paving operations continue on the northern section of this project, expect delays and intersection closures on Clover Lane between Dexter and Lafayette over the next two weeks. Several sidewalks and ADA-wheelchair ramps have been removed and these paths are closed to pedestrian traffic.
No more water/sewer disruptions are expected. The contractor has completed the installation of all new water and sewer utilities on Clover Lane.
