CLOVER LANE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

October 5, 2020 · Filed Under Events and News

The roadway paving is complete, with the exception of a few spots at the north end of Clover Lane. The roadway should be opened up in time for the start of in-person school at Stripling Middle School this week.

Currently, the contractor is focused on completing the sidewalks, driveways and ADA-wheelchair ramps. This will last for several more months until the project is completed. As this work continues, there will be temporary closures of sidewalks and ramps that could cause pedestrians to seek alternative routes.

The intersection of Camp Bowie and Clover Lane will still experience temporary closures as pedestrian facilities are installed in and around the street.  No other parts of the street should experience major closures.

All work associated with water and sewer utilities has been completed. There should be no further water or sewer disruptions.

Work schedule for October:
October 5-9: Complete the replacement of storm inlet tops near the Clover/Lafayette intersection. Continue sidewalks and driveways

October 12-16: Continue sidewalks and driveways

October 19-23: Continue sidewalks and driveways. Possibly start the repaving of El Campo from Clover to Belle Place.
