CONSTRUCTION AT THOMAS PLACE COMMUNITY CENTER

March 17, 2022 · Filed Under Events and News

If you’ve seen the public notice sign in front of Thomas Place Community Center, here is what it’s about.  Construction is underway to replace and re-route an underground sanitary sewer at the southern end of the campus.  During construction, the southern pedestrian path into the park will be temporarily closed.  All the work is being done underground. Completion of the project is slated for the second week of June 2022.  Once completed, there will be no visible change whatsoever above ground, except for the removal of a Chinaberry tree in the alley.
A public hearing for the project is scheduled for March 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Council Chamber, second floor, City Hall, 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, 76102. at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
