Everyone is welcome!
STOP, DROP and ROLL … are you familiar with these words?
Would you know what to do if a fire came to your house? What if a fire got on your clothes? Is your smoke alarm working? Do you know what CO2 is? These are the MOST important things to remember during this Fire Safety program. Fire Fighter J.R. Lopez and his side-kick, Ninfa, representing the Citizen’s Fire Academy will present these and other important pointers Tuesday night. There will be an upcoming class which is an 8 week course for comprehensive fire safety, including repelling, using equipment, and even fire investigation. Also, those who graduate will receive some CPR training. The class is open to folks 19 years old to seasoned citizens Our AHNA President, Brenda Helmer, has completed this course, and would DO IT AGAIN. Learn more Tuesday night to get in on this class and graduate as a Fort Worth Fire Academy Citizen.
Bring your kiddos … there will be photo ops with helmets and equipment, safety information, and perhaps a few surprises!
This is a great way to thank and honor our Firefighters for their brave and noble work!
