From the publisher of Easy Gardens for North Central Texas:
It’s time to learn a new way of gardening in north central Texas. Our temperatures are rising while our rainfall amounts are falling. Bees are disappearing, and butterflies are diminishing. We are all concerned that the activities of man might actually be harming our environment. At the same time, people are busier than ever, and few have time to devote to maintenance-intensive landscapes. Budgets are stretched to the limit. The purpose of this book is to show plants and gardening techniques that help our environment and fit into our busy, budget-driven lifestyles.
Colorful, simple, low-water plants for the tough, north central Texas environment.
