NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2019
This annual neighborhood party gets better every year! Hosted by Arlington Heights Citizens on Patrol and the Fort Worth Police Department at Thomas Place Community Center, the National Night Out party has been held every October for almost twenty years to heighten awareness about crime prevention.
As always, there were fun things for the kids to do.
This year there was even a live band! We were so lucky to be entertained by the very talented Buddy Whittington and band.
Given the warm evening, ice cold water was in high demand.
Long-time COP Captain Jan Bourne (left) handed out raffle tickets for free prizes from area merchants.
Luckily, Fire Station 18 crew and truck were not on a call and were able to be there for the young’uns to get an up close and personal look at the impressive fire truck.
