We had another great success at this year’s National Night Out at Thomas Place Community Center. Over 200 people signed in to enjoy the music by DJ Gil Lozo, free food and raffle prizes, including four tickets to Alabama’s 50th-anniversary concert at Dickies Arena.

Our neighborhood Fire Station 18 crew showed off their truck, the USS Fort Worth. Fort Worth Police Department brought their drug dog. Joining in the fun was Neighborhood Patrol Officer Andy Morquecho and Code Compliance officers.

We appreciated everyone’s support to make it another memorable National Night Out. Special thanks goes to Victoria Leach and her amazing staff at Thomas Place Community Center for their invaluable help with setting up and cleaning up.

On another note, to honor of the 30th anniversary of Citizens on Patrol the City of Fort Worth will light up the new City Hall, the West 7th St. bridge and Will Rogers Memorial Center Tower with blue lights on Tuesday October 19.
