PARTY THIS SUNDAY AT CARLETON AVE. FIRE STATION
It’s Fort Worth’s oldest and Arlington Heights’ most beloved fire station. We’re celebrating its 101st birthday this Sunday October 20 from 3 p.m. until 7.p.m. It’s at the corner of Camp Bowie Blvd. and Carleton Ave.
It’s free and has kid-friendly things to do, including a bounce house, face painting and tours of fire trucks. This year there’s a silent auction that includes Dickies Arena tickets, art lessons from House of Neville, and a surprise from The Happy Lark. Great food from Winslow’s, Olivella’s Pizza, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Bluebonnet Bakery, and Curly’s Frozen Custard. Live music, including Texas Girls Choir. Pumpkins from Arlington Heights United Methodist’s Pumpkin Patch. Tour the historic fire station and meet the firemen who put their lives on the line to protect us. Sponsors include Crestline Area Neighborhood Association, Ben E. Keith, Frost Bank, Camp Bowie District, Thomas Place Community Center, Taco Heads, The Happy Lark, Imprint Graphics and Mesman Design. C’mon ya’ll!
