September 13, 2020 · Filed Under Events and News

The four-story 120-room hotel and adjacent eleven town homes proposed for the 3700 block of Camp Bowie, west of CVS Pharmacy, has been the subject of much deliberation among Arlington Heights neighbors. The project was recommended for approval by the Fort Worth Zoning Commission on Wednesday September 9. It moves to City Council for a final vote this Tuesday September 15. It’s not too late to send in your comments.

BELOW is a link to information about what is proposed:

This project is located within the boundaries of North Hi Mount Neighborhood Association, but a number of commercial and residential properties in Arlington Heights are within 300 feet of it. North Hi Mount Neighborhood Association voted to neither support or oppose the project because nearby neighbors did not reach consensus on a position. Arlington Heights Neighborhood Association sent a letter of opposition, primarily objecting to the oversized scale and height of the hotel proposed for Camp Bowie Blvd.
