TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Fort Worth Firefighters Hall

3855 Tulsa Way at Crestline Rd

Our membership meetings are always open to everyone.  You don’t need to be a member to attend.  Feel free to come and bring your friends and neighbors.  Everyone is welcome.

The monthly neighborhood crime report from our Neighborhood Patrol Officer will be followed by some brief announcements.

GUEST SPEAKER:  Tyler Alberts, executive director of Military Museum of Fort Worth.

This photo of Camp Bowie, the World War I Army training camp, was taken between 1917 and 1918 near today’s Texas Girls Choir church building at 4449 Camp Bowie Boulevard.

Tyler Alberts is a leading authority on Camp Bowie, the World War I Army training camp that was built in 1917 where Arlington Heights stands today.  Tyler will show maps and photographs of the 2,000-acre camp that trained more than 100,000 soldiers. He will orient us about where things were in relation to today’s landmarks and buildings.  You will undoubtedly learn things about Arlington Heights that you never knew before.

AHNA meetings are always BYOB, so feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverages to enjoy and/or share.

There is an accessible entrance on the east side of the building for anyone not wishing to use the stairs.

Thank you Fort Worth Coffee Company for providing the perfect space for the monthly AHNA Executive Board meetings.
