According to Fort Worthology, here’s some news about the Fort Worth Streetcar project: the North Central Texas Council of Governments has approved using $1.6 million for a grant to the City of Fort Worth to fund a design consultant and study on the project. The city and The T will kick in funds to bring the total up to $2 million. The city will be bringing on a consultant to do detailed design schematics and operational details, which means that we’ll then start to see some concrete Fort Worth streetcar design plans.
