THANKSGIVING POTLUCK DINNER THIS TUESDAY NOVEMBER 14
We’ve moved up the date of this year’s Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner because Thanksgiving 2023 falls earlier than usual on the calendar.

As in the previous 20+ years AHNA has held this cherished community event, AHNA is providing turkey, fixings and beverages. Neighbors are asked to contribute sides and desserts.
It’s BYOB–you are free to bring your choice of alcoholic beverages.
New this year, AHNA has challenged four Arlington Heights culinary wizards to the first annual Turkey Cook Off. AHNA is buying the turkeys and the four neighbors will cook them. Everyone will have a chance to weigh in on your favorite bird. We predict all of them will be winners!
The entrants for this year’s competition include:
• Robert Gordon – gifted therapy dog whisperer
• Meda Kessler – lifestyle media genius and renowned cook
• Kanani Mahelona – former NYC fashion consultant, avid gardener, and yoga teacher
• Paula Brown – interior designer, born and raised in Arlington Heights

If you’re planning to attend, please RSVP to president@arlingtonheightsna.com to give us a heads up, so we have enough food for everyone. RSVPs are not required, so don’t worry if you decide at the last minute to attend. Come! You don’t need to be an AHNA member to attend, so invite your neighbors, too. Everyone is welcome.
We’ll be collecting canned goods to be distributed by Thomas Place Community Center, so take a look in your cupboards.
We’ll also be selling Fire Station #18 t-shirts, in case you missed out in getting one at the birthday party on October 22.
AHNA always takes off December, so this will be the last membership meeting of the year. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on the third Tuesday in January 2024.
