WHO TO VOTE FOR IN THIS YEAR’S CITY COUNCIL RACE

After ten years of serving as our city councilman, Councilman Dennis Shingleton is retiring. Council District 7 will elect a new representative on Saturday May 1, 2021. The person who is elected will be very importnat to the future of our neighborhoods.
Get to know the ten candidates who have filed to run for this seat, by tuning in to:
THE WEST SIDE ALLIANCE CANDIDATES FORUM
Tuesday April 13 at 6:30 p.m.to 8:00 p.m.
Anyone can attend, but must pre-register by sending your name, address and email address to president@arlingtonheightsna.com.  To ensure Zoom security, please be sure to include your physical address to your RSVP.  You will receive back via email a Zoom link; if you don’t receive the link, please check your email spam folder for the reply from shafw@aol.com.

The West Side Alliance is made up of designated representatives from six neighborhood associations:
• Arlington Heights Neighborhood Association
• Crestline Area Neighborhood Association
• Crestwood Neighborhood Association
• Monticello Neighborhood Association
• North Hi Mount Neighborhood Association
• West Byers Neighborhood Association

Neighborhood delegates in the Alliance have joined together to present this candidates forum to give all West Siders an opportunity to become familiar with the candidates and make their own decisions about who to vote for.  This forum is non-partisan. Neither West Side Alliance or your neighborhood association will be endorsing any of the candidates.Please send any questions you have for the candidates to president@arlingtonheightsna.com. All questions will be compiled before the forum and presented by the forum moderator. There will be no live chat available on this forum.

Take advantage of an earlier opportunity to virtually meet the District 7 candidates on Monday April 5 at 7:00 p.m.  Sponsored by Crestwood Neighborhood Association, this hour-long Zoom forum is taking registrations at www.crestwoodfw.org. They will email you back their Zoom link to their forum.

Election day is Saturday May 1.
Early voting begins Monday April 19.
